Cats and Dawgs

some have gone and some have come...

I haven't posted on here in a LONG time.. sadly Sophie and Missy are no longer with us. We still have Penny the cat and now we have a Shinese [Shih Tzu/Pekingese mix] dog and a new kitten named Molly.

This is Molly the little pest.. lol..

As you can see these two have become very good friends [or should I say, partners in crime?] although Penny would be just as happy to have them gone.. lol

Tinkabelle [or Tinka for short] is Ron's dog as you can see.. she adores her daddy.

I would say that Molly is my cat, we have to have her spayed soon before she goes into heat. She's 5 months old so we should really get her done within the next month or so.. hopefully it will slow her down a bit.

Tinka loves her mommy too but just not as much as she loves her daddy.. she was just groomed on Wednesday so she's nice and short haired and ready for the summer.

The comfort of cats...

Why is it that cats can be so comfortable no matter where they choose to lay?.. Here is one of Penny's favorite spots .. an open window.. she can enjoy the fresh air and watch the birds while making little chirping noises... I think she secretly wants to be a bird...

Sometimes you just gotta put your paws down and tell your skin people to get off their butts and get out in the fresh air and enjoy the day.. Me and Sophie the Bassett like to try to be first but we both are getting old so I let her win going and she lets me win coming back... Missy...

She's cute.. she's lovable... she's stinky and she's loud.. that's Sophie, claiming her bed.. and Missy and Penny better watch out.. cause she's territorial as far as her sleeping quarters go..

Her haircut.. when we first got her, she's 6-7 years old but we've only had her for 9 months and she's supposed to be a pure bred miniature poodle but I suspect there is Bichon mixed in there somewhere considering her shape.. she's surprisingly good at letting us clip her..
